Burns Named Product Manager of Kleerdex

Scott Burns, Product Manager, Kleerdex Company, LLC

BLOOMSBURG, PA — Scott Burns has been named Product Manager of Kleerdex Company, LLC by Richard Cort, vice president sales and marketing.

Burns will be responsible for sales and marketing of Kydex® thermoplastic sheet products in North America. He says, "Initial efforts will be on establishing a launch format for new product introductions, developing sales tool packages for the sales staff and distributors, and most importantly, communicating the aesthetic and functional advantages of components made with Kydex sheet to designers."

According to Burns, new products soon to be formally announced include a new thin-gauge 3-D laminate for the membrane press market and a new heavy-duty protective topcoat with superior scratch, abrasion and chemical resistance for horizontal applications.

Burns previously served as North American Sales Manager/Furniture Components for Solvay Draka, Inc., Swedesboro, NJ.

He holds a BS degree from West Chester University and resides in Langhorne, PA with wife Kate.
