KLEERDEX APPOINTS INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER

Ronn Cort was named International Business Manager of Kleerdex Company, LLC by James Medalie, president.

His role will be to develop, implement and manage global brand and sales strategy for Kydex® thermoplastic sheet products across all markets and to manage the Company’s export activities.

Cort’s stated intentions are to develop a globally-recognized brand name through long-term distributor-based market development, licensing agreements, and technology transfers into developing markets, focusing on bringing new and existing Kleerdex technologies and products into emerging and established global markets.

He said, “Sales of Kydex sheet will be driven largely by its ability to meet or exceed worldwide safety and environmental standards emerging across major markets where low flame spread, smoke development, and toxicity are the primary criteria,” adding, “Kleerdex is positioned to capitalize on the opportunities these standards create.”

He came from The FLM Group of Companies, Appenzell, Switzerland and Akron, Ohio where he served as International Business Manager from 1999 to 2004, while also holding the position of Director for Fomo Japan located in Tokyo, Japan.

Cort attended the Syracuse University School of Architecture, and the Marshall School of International Business at University of Southern California. He has been an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute and an industry consultant and CEU chairperson. He received a State of Ohio Global Leadership Award in 2003.

Cort, spouse Sandy Ramsey, and their two children, Emily (age 7) and Richard (age 1), reside in Green, Ohio.
